Embracing the life of the Church

PRAY THAT YOUNG PEOPLE SERVE JESUS

"So when he had washed their feet and put his garments back on and reclined at table again, he said to them,  "Do you realized what I have done for you?"        -John 13:12

Christ is calling us to His Sacred Heart and we need to pray for our own soul as much as others. Our misison, to proclaim the gospel, can only be effective with the Holy Spirit moving the hearts of individuals to see the message of Jesus Christ. Please pray that young people will be moved by the Holy Spirit to serve Jesus, and secondly commit to doing this through NET Ministries of Canada.

Our churches and world need vibrant young people who want to commit to share their lives and are willing to step out in faith to share the gospel message.

In these times of complexity, God wants all of us to make a difference in the lives of others by repairing a broken world...repairing a broken heart. This can simply be done by acts of charity. Sharing Jesus' love with others. Our volunteers do just that.

PRAY FOR OUR MISSION OF EVANGELIZATION

Team members are first to be followers of Christ before all else, servants, and that dying to self will lead to serving Christ in the ministry that we are called to. May this year remind us that our true calling in this life is to prepare our souls for eternal life.

"Amen, amen, I say to you, whoever receives the one I send receives me, and whoever receiveds me receives the one who sent me."
                                                                            -John 13: 20

Pray the Rosary

The word Rosary means "Crown of Roses". Our Lady has revealed to several people that each time they say a Hail Mary they are giving her a beautiful rose and that each complete Rosary makes her a crown of roses. The rose is the queen of flowers, and so the Rosary is the rose of all devotions and it is therefore the most important one. The Holy Rosary is considered a perfect prayer because within it lies the awesome story of our salvation.

"The Rosary of the Virgin Mary, which gradually took form in the second millennium under the guidance of the Spirit of God, is a prayer loved by countless Saints and encouraged by the Magisterium. Simple yet profound, it still remains, at the dawn of this third millennium, a prayer of great significance, destined to bring forth a harvest of holiness. It blends easily into the spiritual journey of the Christian life, which, after two thousand years, has lost none of the freshness of its beginnings and feels drawn by the Spirit of God to “set out into the deep” (duc in altum!) in order once more to proclaim, and even cry out, before the world that Jesus Christ is Lord and Saviour, “the way, and the truth and the life” (Jn 14:6)" - Pope John Paul II - Rosarium Virginis Mariae
