Hey there! My name is Amanda, I am 23 years old and I hail from Auckland, New Zealand!! I love anything food-related, LOVE to bake, I love music and I also really love going on runs/staying active!!

I was born and raised a cradle Catholic but only came to know and love the Lord when I was in university. In the beginning of my third year of study, I realized that if I wasn’t growing in my faith, then I was going backwards. So I attended a young adult’s Catholic retreat called ‘Hearts Aflame’ and my life changed. I came to know and love the Lord and heard about NET Canada for the first time. I knew it was something I wanted to be involved with. So after 2 years of prayer and discernment (and a completed degree), I took the plunge!

I am so excited to be a part of NET. I love its mission and everything it stands for! This year, I’m on the travelling retreat team! This means that we’ll be travelling coast to coast, putting on retreats for youth between grades 6-12! We are already a month into our ministry and we can already see the Lord alive and present! It’s such a powerful reminder that the Holy Spirit is the agent of conversion!
