Anne LaFleche, Saskatoon, SK

My name is Anne LaFleche and I am 24 years old. I live in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan and I currently work as a French kindergarten teacher. I considered the possibility of serving with NET for several years; however, it was not until I completed my degree that I knew it was the right time.

Witnessing first-hand the suppression and subversion of Judeo-Christian values in academic institutions is what ultimately motivated me to pursue this opportunity. I am taking this year to serve with NET in order to equip myself with the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities to be able to move forward in the world proclaiming the Good News. My reason for serving with NET Ministries is not dissimilar from my reason for becoming a teacher. In both cases, I wish to restore a sense of purpose in young people by helping them grow in their faith and by bringing them closer to Christ.

I am in Whitehorse, Yukon! It has been a joy getting to know the community. We have been given all kinds of delicious food and goodies. We also hiked to a canyon and have seen beautiful views of the town and mountains. I am most excited about going into the high school and getting to work with the youth!

I invite you to join the NET mission through your financial support. If you donate $50 or more, or give monthly, you will receive the NET newsletter and personal letters updating you on my mission throughout the year. Thank you for visiting my page and I will be keeping you in my prayers.
