Hi!

My name is Lucy Starkie and I am 24 years old. I am from Manchester, England. I have just finished studying Creative Writing at Queen’s University Belfast, and I love to write, read, watch movies, work out and cook.

This is actually my third year of doing NET! I did NET Canada 2019 – 2020, NET Ireland 2020-2021,  and over the past year, I was studying and working for a pro-life organization. In August I quit my job to travel for three months around Europe.

So many young people don’t know Jesus and don’t have a personal relationship with Him. It really breaks my heart that so many of my peers go through life without knowing and loving the God that created them. I felt really called back to the mission because I felt called to share the gospel with people, especially young people. I missed the intentionality of the mission of NET, and being able to have so many conversations with other young people about Jesus. I am so excited for this half a year of mission, and I can’t wait to see all the crazy things that God is going to do.
