Valentina Fajardo, Calgary, AB

Hey there! My name is Valentina Fajardo and I am 22 years old. I currently live in Calgary though I was born in Phoenix, Arizona and come from a Colombian family! I’ve recently finished my bachelor’s degree in French with a minor in Music at the University of Calgary. I love going to the mountains on hikes and walks, playing my violin and making wood-burning craft projects!

It was when I was helping out as a volunteer for the youth nights at my parish that I first met a NET team and they just had an immense impact on me and my faith. I loved their mission and the work they were doing with youth, showing them Christ’s love for us and I felt a growing desire to do the same! Plus, they were the most joyful people I’ve ever met because of their mission work, inviting others to know Christ, and I wanted that!

I have been chosen this year to be on the team for the diocese of Keewatin-La Pas in northern Saskatchewan and Manitoba. My team will be in several Indigenous communities and I’m excited to meet the beautiful people in these areas. I’m also looking forward to being surrounded by God’s marvelous creation, nature.

I humbly invite you to join and support me in this mission through either your prayers or financially, or both! In giving a donation of $50 or more, or monthly support, you will receive a NET newsletter and a letter from me with updates on my mission.

Thank you so much for visiting my page and know that you are in my prayers!
