Hello and happy Easter from NET Retreat Team #2!

We are currently in the GTA running retreats in Brampton. It’s been a crazy month, but full of the Lord’s goodness, as always! We started the month off in Alberta, running retreats in Rocky Mountain House, the Edmonton area, Drayton Valley, and the Cold Lake area. At one point, due to sickness, we ended up running a retreat for a little less than 100 grade 6s with only 5 of our teammates. It was wild, but the Lord worked wonders during that retreat. Thankfully, people got better, and we were all reunited a week or so later, and there was great rejoicing in the land! There was also one retreat that got cancelled while we were dealing with sickness, but thankfully, it got rescheduled, and we still got to run the retreat for that school about a week later. During that retreat, some crazy revival was happening at that school. It was a retreat for grade 6s, and they were pretty rambunctious, but when we got to the prayer time, they were locked in. Lucia, who was leading the retreat that day, felt prompted by the Holy Spirit and ended up extending the prayer time up to 40 minutes because the youth kept wanting to ask us to pray for them, learn to pray the rosary, and even started going up to each other and praying with each other! It was so beautiful to witness them being so excited about prayer.

We had a couple of days without retreats, so we were able to return to Rocky Mountain House and stay with our friends there again. We got to drive out through Canmore and Banff to see Lake Louise, and we took a day to do a scramble up Heart Mountain near Canmore. Nathanael, a proud Washingtonian, found the hike for us and was so excited to share his love for the mountains with the team. It was a crazy hike, but so, so much fun! The views were spectacular! Elizabeth was terrified going down the mountain since it was so steep and high, but the team encouraged her and helped her down. 🙂

We will be staying in Windsor over Easter, and Patricia is super happy because it’s so close to her home in Michigan, just across the border, which is super cool. We hope you all have a blessed Holy Week and a very happy Easter. Please, please pray for us. We know none of this is possible without your prayers. We’re praying for you.

God bless,

Retreat Team #2
