Hello!

My name is Benedict MacDonald. I’m from Ottawa, I’m 19 years old, and I have 6 siblings. I love listening to and playing music, I love working out, and I love learning and thinking. I also love adventures, which is one of the reasons why I chose to do NET this year. But more than that, I love Jesus, and I love my Catholic faith, and doing NET will not only give me the opportunity to grow in my relationship with him, but also to share my love for him and for the faith with others.

This year, I’ve been put on Retreat Team 1 and we’re traveling west from Ottawa across the whole country putting on retreats for youth to give them the opportunity to hear about and respond to Christ. We’ll be making it all the way to BC, and even the Yukon. I really believe that God wants me to do NET this year, and has laid out a plan for my life with this in mind. I don’t know exactly where God is taking me through all of this, but I know that God has a plan, and he’ll guide me through all difficulties.

So I ask of anyone reading this, pray for me. Pray that I can be rooted in Christ, and my love for him can overflow to each and every youth that I minister to. Pray every day for me, please. I also need to raise money to allow me to do all this in the first place.
