My name is William Baker and I am filled with gratitude to have the opportunity to serve on NET for the 2026-2027 mission year! I grew up in Russell, Ontario on a small permaculture farm called Fiat Farm. I’m the oldest of six kids, and I’m a semi-competitive curler.

This past mission year I have had the extraordinary privilege to have been placed on a retreat team that was able to minister in many places across Canada. I feel so blessed to have been able to see so much of our beautiful nation and encounter so many different youth with differing backgrounds and experiences. And most importantly it is truly phenomenal to have seen them invite Jesus to be the centre of their lives.

I have also been blessed with the opportunity to embark on a second year of ministry with NET Canada! I am so grateful that the Lord as called me back to minister to youth across our vast nation. I truly cannot wait to see more lives changed during the 2026-2027 mission year!
