Welcome to Team Two’s April update!

This month has been filled with fun, rest and retreats. We got to stay in Leamington for a couple weeks doing class room visits, prayer evenings, and full day retreats.  The ministry side of things has been awesome. Because we got to stay in the area for a bit longer we really got to bond and walk with the youth as they learned more about God. One of the mission moments from Leamington was this: 

“I prayed for one youth and she shared that she has never been asked by anyone to pray for her and that it made her feel so much peace and very loved.”

We also got to do prayer nights which were open to anyone who wanted to be there.  During that time, a lady came to one of the missionaries to be prayed over. She shared that she had been feeling disconnected from God but that this night was a blessing and a turning moment fro her back to God. It’s been so cool seeing God work in whatever spot He places us whether it’s retreats, host homes or these prayer nights. 

As a team we’ve been keeping it fun as always. We spent the Easter break hanging out, drinking tons of boba and spending one-on-one time with each and every member. We also got to spend the day in Point Pelee- which apparently is the most southern part of Canada. (We also got to see a beaver so that was pretty cool) All in all, team life has also been awesome.

As a team we’ve been learning to listen in and go where the spirit leads- especially when it comes to retreats. For us that means setting aside the schedule and doing what we think we’re being called to do in the moment. We want to trust Him with all that we do even if it might feel unconventional. 

Well this is the end…jk we still have a month left. But jokes aside, as a team we’ve been noticing just how fast the end is coming and we want to make every moment count. We’re planning on putting in our all and thoroughly enjoying every minute of what we have left. Please keep us in your prayers as we step into this final chapter of our NET year.
