Louise Lapain, Essex, ON

Hello and welcome!

My name is Louise Lapain, but everyone calls me Lou. I am 22 years old and I am from a small town called Essex in Southern Ontario. My big, crazy family means everything to me. I have six siblings; four sisters and two brothers. All four of my older siblings are married and I am always playing with my nieces and nephews.

I graduated from Graphic Design at St. Clair College last spring. You can often find me on my computer designing or drawing. Currently, I have taken over my parish’s youth ministry social media account, and I absolutely love it! Being able to use my talents to bring people closer to Christ is one of my favourite ways to serve the Lord. Some other things that I love are iced coffee, camping with my family, soft-serve ice cream, all things Nike, my dog Samson and a good dad joke.

Youth ministry has played a huge role in my faith journey. It was through youth groups and retreats that I truly grew closer to the Lord and learned how to trust and surrender to Him. I am so grateful and beyond blessed to be able to share that same experience with youth across Canada.

I was put on Team 7, with six other amazing people. We are spending the year in Vancouver British Columbia doing highschool ministry. We are splitting our time at St. Thomas of Aquinas in North Vancouver, and Archbishop Carney in Port Coquitlam. We love being able to journey and grow alongside the students, and even some of the staff, through classroom visits, fellowship, retreats, and leading small group discussions. Wow, I really love being a missionary and sharing my story.

I am so excited to continue my amazing adventure as a NET missionary and I would love it if you would join me. I would like to personally invite you to join me in this mission from the comfort of your home by considering supporting me spiritually and/or financially. Know that all support is greatly appreciated and received with much love. A donation of 50 dollars or more, or a monthly donation, will come with a NET Newsletter and a personal letter updating you on our mission throughout the year.

Thank you so much for visiting my page and taking time to get to know me. I will be praying for you and I would love it if you would keep all of us NET missionaries in your prayers as we bring Christ to the youth of Canada. Feel free to reach out to me and let me know if you have any specific intentions that I can pray for! Thank you so much for making this mission possible.

God Bless, Lou
